Welcome to our Autumn edition of ‘Off the Record’.
There’s lots happening around the South Island at the moment. Down in Wanaka we’ve had the first of a series of big events with a fantastic A&P show attended by 44,000 people, RIPE, and the Warbirds over Wanaka next weekend. Christchurch isn’t being left behind either with SailGP, not to mention a myriad of Easter Bunny hunts taking place throughout the city over Easter.
It’s shaping up to be another busy year. There’s much activity across the legal landscape and a lot of different dynamics at play. In this latest edition we talk about some recent health and safety breaches and what that means for business owners; highlight important legislative changes; and welcome a new team member aboard.
We’re currently seeing an increase in properties for sale around the country. If you’re thinking of selling, it’s important to get legal advice before you put your property on the market. The bright-line changes haven’t come into law yet so make sure you know what rules apply to you on sale day.
Have a happy Easter everyone.
